Here are 10 life changing tips to help you sharpen your focus, and prevent distractions.


1.) Become an early riser. Waking up a few hours earlier will allow time to do less important tasks, and maybe even an early morning workout.


2.) Set a deadline. If you are working to complete a task it can take a while, that's why you should set a deadline . Giving yourself 1-2 hours to complete a task is a great start.


3.) Maintain a clean workspace. Having a messy workspace can easily distract you, that is why it is good to keep it minimalistic when it comes to organizing your desk.


4.) Break down tasks. Before you start your tasks organize them into smaller sections, so that you do not have so much work to do at once you loose motivation.


5.) Tune out the world around you. Create a playlist of music, or podcasts to listen to while you do your tasks.


6.) Give yourself a break. Like I mentioned earlier overworking yourself can leave to loss of motivation.


7.) Go Offline. a huge distraction you will face is your phone, by simply turning your phone on ''Do Not Disturb'', this will make it where you won't receive those very distracting notifications.


8.) Be prepared. Use Pinterest to find a daily, or weekly planner to plan out your days ahead so you know what needs to get done.


9.) Pinpoint the cause of your distraction. Find out what is distracting you... is it that squeaky ceiling fan, your phone, or even the fact that you haven't had anything to eat.

10.) Check up on yourself. Distractions can also be internal to that's why you should do a weekly mental health check.
